NEW DELHI， March 25 (Xinhua) -- A court in the Indian capital on Saturday ordered Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and five other leaders of his Aam Aadmi Party to face trial in a defamation case filed against them by Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.


Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sumit Dass said that all the Aam Aadmi Party leaders， including Kejriwal， will face trial in the case， proceedings of which will start from May 20.


Apart from Kejriwal， other party leaders are former media personality-turned politician Ashutosh， poet-turned-politician Kumar Vishwas， Sanjay Singh， Raghav Chaddha and Deepak Bajpai.


If convicted， they will face up to two years in jail.


Jaitley filed the defamation case as well as another civil suit some two years ago， seeking damages against Kejriwal and others after they accused him of financial irregularities when Jaitley was president of the Delhi Cricket Association between 2000 and 2012.


Jaitley has alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party leaders collectively undertaken a falsemalicious defamatory campaign to gain political mileage and other unwarranted benefits at the cost of causing irreversible damage to him and his family.


All the six Aam Aadmi Party leaders have pleaded not guilty.


Kejriwal， a former civil-servant-turned-politician whose party swept to power in Delhi in 2015 assembly polls， is well-known in India for making wild allegations against opposition politicians without substantiating them.


A Japanese nonprofit group has demanded that the golf tournament for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games be shifted from the Kasumigaseki Country Club which does not accept women as full members.

The council has not received a -response from the IOC but feels it is making headway after Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike recently criticized the -policy. The council wants the venue to be moved to Wakasu Golf Links, a -public course on Tokyo Bay located much -closer to the Olympic Village.


Beyond the membership issue Air Max 2018 Sale , the council believes Wakasu would be more cost-effective due to its proximity to central Tokyo and have greater legacy value for the people because it is a public course.


The uproar adds to a list of troubles for Japanese organizers, who had -recently been considering moving three other venues because of soaring costs before sticking to their planned locations at a lower price.


In a statement, the Tokyo 2020 organizing committee noted that -Kasumigaseki had hosted various -national competitions Air Max Sale , including the 1999 Japan Women's Open, and that it fully met the requirements for hosting Olympic-level golf competitions. But the committee added that it "would continue studying the club -owner's policy on the membership eligibility and responses to the public discussion."


Several notable country clubs have changed their policies to allow female members in recent years.
