MILWAUKEE -- Pedro Alvarez hit two home runs, Andrew McCutchen also went deep, and Jeff Locke pitched six shutout innings to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 5-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Neil Walker added a solo home run for the Pirates, who won for a second time in Milwaukee this season, but for only the ninth time since 2007 at Miller Park -- against 47 losses. Locke (5-1) gave up three hits and struck out a season-high seven, to win his fourth straight game. It was the second straight game he didnt give up a run. It was McCutchens fourth home run off Fiers during his career. Pittsburgh increased its lead to 3-0 in the second inning. After a single by Walker, Alvarez hit his ninth home run to the right field corner. Walkers second home run of the year to the second deck in right field in the fourth inning increased Pittsburghs lead to 4-0. Gomez hit his seventh home run of the year leading off the seventh inning off Pirates reliever Justin Wilson to cut Pittsburghs lead to 4-1. Alvarez added his 10th leading off the ninth inning, a towering shot to the top of the second level in right field. Gomez hit his second home run of the game in the ninth inning to trim the lead to 5-2. It was Gomezs first career multi-home run game.
