For some, it may be ego. Those "no way, I can do this on my own, and I don't need help from ANYBODY." type personalities usually fail the fastest. Whatever traditional job or business experiences that they have usually DO NOT translate well in HOW to do the business. Yes, they may have some skills from their current andor previous jobbusiness, but when it comes down to it, you HAVE TO learn from those that are succeeding.
What other reasons do people have for not plugging into MLM leaders?
Well, there could be many, but another one that I see often is fear. Now, this could translate into multiple levels of inaction, but it tends to make a person fall into two categories.
The first is fear of a MLM leader saying that they aren't good enough (aka fear of rejection). In my mind, this is the dumbest fear of all, especially if your leader is on your team (as in your upline). They have pretty much zero reason to knock you down because they will benefit directly from your success. Therefore, this is HIGHLY unlikely.
I mean, even if they aren't in your upline or company, they often care too much about the industry as a whole so they will be more than willing to help you out. They want everyone to succeed.
But often times, the fear of being successful is what stops people from plugging into MLM leaders
And this fear is often a subconsciously driven force.
Why? Because it will instantly propel people out of their comfort zone and away from ANY previous experiences that they have had.
They will be in a new tax bracket. They will be having business overhead. They will have to attend events at different places. They will win free trips.
On so many levels, their mind has never seen this before so it goes into the "no way, Jose" mode.
But guess what guys.you need to prepare your mind. You are going to new places where you have never been before. You are going to hit up the same struggles that the gurus have.
And it all starts with plugging into the MLM leaders.
